In addition, our Spa, Cabins and outdoor areas will compliment your event in your own unique and creative way.

- 18 guest rooms with a 44 person occupancy. Additional rooms are available throughout Hardy County and with our partnerships with our local B&B's and cabin rentals to comfortable accommodate up to 100 persons for your special event.

"Absolutely amazing wedding"

Gary and Jesse provided outstanding service at a competitive rate. They provided courtesy, service, food, and venue planning that went well above and beyond the price of the wedding. We got a great deal, as would anyone celebrating at this location. The wedding was on a balcony with 75 people, overlooking the valley and the mountains. The dining room was appointed beautifully, and was truly magical. The food was exquisite. We chose to let the Guest House set the menu, and they selected food options that were simply divine. The food preparation and service was fantastic. Gary's and Jesse's attention to every detail, and making the wedding fabulous, did not go unnoticed. We appreciate how much time and effort they put in to making our day simply amazing. They were very easy to work with, accommodated our ideas, shared their ideas, and made a wedding weekend that was fabulous. Their personal touch made it that much more special.

“the perfect place for any occasion”

My wife and I had our wedding here earlier this month and everything was better than we could ever have dreamt. Here is a little glimpse on all of the components of this ideal spot:

Owners-
We trusted Gary,Jesse, and Michael on all of their suggestions and everything turned out perfect. These guys know how the coordinate and organize an event to run smoothly.
Staff- All of the staff from the bartenders,to the servers, to the cooks, to the housekeepers and everyone else that works there; professionalism and friendliness is all i can say.
Food- The food that we tasted 2 months before the wedding, tasted exactly the same as the food that was served on our wedding day(which is not always the case). The chef knows how to cook everything and anything because everything was excellent. All of our guests raved about the food.
Setting- This truly is the most beautiful setting, the way it sits up in the mountains offers great views down through the valley and of all the beautiful scenery around it makes it very peaceful.
Rooms- Comfortable beds and well done decor. Everything is clean and fresh.

In a nutshell whether its a special occasion or just a weekend getaway the guest house has everything you need to relax and have a great time.

“Our WOW wedding at the Guesthouse”

My husband and I just got married at the Guesthouse and they made it so easy! Jesse and Gary are great to work with and the whole staff was excellent all weekend. We didn't worry about a thing and could not stop thanking them for exceeding our expectations over and over again. The bridal suite is gorgeous and the guest rooms were all phenomenal. The property is so beautiful and well decorated that we honestly didn't add a SINGLE thing. The views are ridiculous and since we were there for the whole weekend, our guests got to spread out and enjoy all the awesome nooks and crannies this property has to offer. The Guesthouse is the perfect mix of nature and luxury in one truly special getaway spot. Other reviewers note that photos cannot do it justice and it is the truth. Every inch of the place is tasteful, interesting and cozy. I will be forever grateful that we chose such a magical place to get married and I can't wait to go back for multiple weekend getaways.

We had a mountain destination weekend in July 2012 spread out over the area with family and friends staying everywhere. Those that stayed at the Guesthouse Lost River raved about the accommodations, scenery, pool time and especially the food. The guys went all out for our welcome dinner in the comfortable Lounge and that set the wonderful tone for the entire weekend.
